Description of obverse and reverse |
Obverse: In the central part of the obverse there is an image of the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the inscription, "100 ТЕҢГЕ" (100 Tenge) signifying the nominal value, the image of the riding horseman and the year of mintage "2009". On circumference there is an obtrusive edging and the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" in the official language and "NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English. Reverse: in the central part the gold plated image of the ancient locket depicting Attila is placed. To the left of the locket there is an inscription "Ag 925" specifying the metal which the coin is made of, to the right there is an inscription "31.1gr." indicating the weight of the coin. In the lower sector there is an image of three warriors horsemen. In the upper sector on circumference there is an inscription "ATTILA THE HUN" in English and the numerals "406 - 453" signifying the dates of birth and death of the commander. |
